Smart portal to sports events

With the SportsEvent app, you can easily participate in sports events such as running, cycling, mountain biking and orienteering. Download SportsEvent for free from the App Store or Google Play Store. Then you’re ready to create your participant profile in the SportsEvent app and access current events.

Find events

In the SportsEvent app you will find events published by organizers we work with. In the event overview you will find information about each event such as time, venue, route, start/finish and price for participation.

Register for events

You sign up for events directly in the SportsEvent app and easily pay for participation by credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Participate in events

Once you are registered, you will have access to the selected event. Some events are held on a specific day. Other events allow for participation at a self-selected time within a period. For each event, the period during which it is possible to start and when the target area is open is shown.

Choose your next sports event

To make it easy to choose your next challenge, each event is described with
information about:

  • Event title
  • Organizer
  • Time and place of the event
  • Route and distance
  • Deadline for registration
  • Fee for participation

Follow the route from start to finish

With the SportsEvent app, you can easily follow the selected route from start to
finish. You can see:

  • The route on a map and your own location on the route.
  • Starting area where you start the event.
  • Checkpoints, you must be pass during implementation.
  • Depots and other points of interest along the route.
  • The target area where you finish the event.

Timing from start to finish

You are responsible for starting and stopping timing when you attend an event, and
your time is automatically transferred to the results list:

  • You must start the timing immediately when you start your participation. The timing must begin within the period when the start area is open. Timing can only be started when the app is activite on your smartphone and you are physically located within the starting area with your smartphone.
  • Start the route after you start the time. Your time is automatically recorded in the app along the way.
  • You must stop timing after you enter the target area. Time can be stopped within the time when the target area is open. You and your smartphone must be physically located within the target area with the smartphone and the SportsEvent app active to stop the time.

Be aware of this

The event organizer has made every effort to plan that the event can be held in a good and safe way, but you always participate at your own responsibility and at your own risk. Therefore, pay special attention to the following:

  • Always follow traffic rules, the organizer’s guidelines, instructions from any officials and other rules and guidelines for safety and participation.
  • Operate only the SportsEvent app under safe conditions – never while driving or other conditions where the app can be distracting.
  • Observe deadlines for registration, start and execution of the event.
  • Make sure your smartphone has enough power for the app to be active throughout the event. If your smartphone runs out of power or the app is disabled there is a risk of incorrect detection of your result.
  • It is a prerequisite that the GPS in your smartphone is enabled and that you have accepted the use of GPS data for the SportsEvent app. Otherwise, the app will not be able to register your location when attending the event.
