Are you an organizer?

As an event organizer, you can publish and offer events to participants via the SportEvent app, which includes registration module, participant payment, event planning, communication with participants, directions, timing and checking that participants have followed the correct route.

Event Maker portal

To plan, publish and offer events through the Sports Event app, you must be registered with a profile on the Event Maker portal that can be accessed via the button on this page.

Once you have access to the Event Maker portal, you can prepare events that are published to the SportsEvent app as they are approved by our
event team.

Event Types

SportsEvent supports a wide range of event types, characterized by having a start, finsh and a route, as well as time being the primary competition parameter for participants. We’ve compiled a list of event types suggestions.

Create free Event Maker profile

With a free Event Maker profile, you have access to plan up to three events to complete within the next 6 months.

For each event can be prepared freely:

  • Event name and picture
  • Location of start and opening hours for start.
  • Location of finish and opening hours for finish.
  • Route and checkpoints to be passed.
  • Points of interest such as depots and other
    facilities.
  • Fee of participation.
  • Deadling for registration.
  • Maximum number of participants.
  • Description of the event.
FREE PROFILE

Event Maker plan

Events must be released by our event team to be published to the Sports Event app. When an event is published, Event Maker has access to information about:

  • Number of participants
  • Participant list / result list
  • Status for payments
  • Send push notifications to participants

Payment fee

Participants have the option to pay when registering for events. Participation payments will be transferred to Event Maker two weeks after the event is completed, deducting the payment fee (depending on the entrant’s choice of payment method) and a percentage fee for SportsTiming per participant.

Obligations as Event Maker

As an organizer, you are obliged to ensure that all your events comply with applicable laws and regulations at the venue where they are conducted and that the event is conducted safely and in accordance with the participants’ legitimate expectations. The organizer is responsible for all that relates to the event’s planning and implementation. SportsEvent is solely responsible for the features included in the SportsEvent app and the Event Maker portal.
